Four people, who I sourced and interviewed, revealed to me what a difference a year had made to their lives and why they had good reason to celebrate – one survived cancer, one had children after having IVF, one faced bankruptcy after a divorce and went on to achieve the career of their dreams as a life coach and one overcame a speech impediment.
